Kimberly sees herself as an Artist, she paints her canvas with People. Her acting background enhances her skills for communicating the specific language used between directors and actors. Combining her love of filmmaking and her ability to find the “right face for the right place” she continues to work around the clock on current and future projects.

She works directly with Producers and Directors during the development, creative, and pre-production phases.  Personal attention is paid to all phases of casting from the initial meeting to hear the Director’s vision, to talent selection, audition logistics and post production needs. In addition to the pre-screening of talent and creative selection of the most qualified actors, her services also include live, video, or audio auditions. Kimberly facilitates and attends all auditions and call back sessions.  She and her team can handle rehearsal schedules, script delivery, wardrobe requirements, fittings, final call times, directions and location information.

Kimberly began her career as a Casting Director in 1990, after graduating from American University in Washington DC as a Theatre Major with a minor in Modern Dance, her roots started at Central Casting, and in 1993 she started her own company, Capital Casting. With help of many wonderful Actors, she has worked on film, television, and radio projects in cities across the US for major movie studios, advertising agencies, and numerous regional film companies. Her unceasing dedication toward the art of professional casting has earned her a long-standing reputation in the industry, as well as life-long friendships.

She has supported studio features, independent films, commercials, videos, and well-known TV series. Her portfolio includes work on Deep Impact, Hearts in Atlantis, Beloved, Pelican Brief, True Lies, Unsolved Mysteries, Death of a Nation, Group House, Camouflage, and a Bud Light commercial. She has also garnered kudos for her work in music videos, games, interactive programs, training videos, radio and theatre.

Inspired by volunteerism, Kimberly serves on the board of Women In Film and Video, Women in Film and Television International, TIVA, and The Junior League. She is passionate about working with actors and is eagerly pursuing her next creative casting challenge!
